A Day on Site: Fire Risk Assessment at a Modern Office Block

It was a bright and breezy day on the Dorset coast for our latest Fire Risk Assessment in Poole. The office block, located close to the seafront, offered fantastic views across the harbour not a bad spot for a day’s work!

Our visit focused on reviewing the building’s fire safety measures to ensure ongoing compliance with current fire regulations. Office environments often vary in layout and use, so taking a careful, site-specific approach is key to identifying any potential risks and ensuring everyone’s safety.

As part of the assessment, we checked that the fire detection, alarm systems, emergency lighting, and escape routes were all in good order. We also reviewed the condition of fire doors and signage to confirm that the building remains safe and compliant.

It was a great day out and a pleasure to work in such a scenic location. Poole’s mix of coastal charm and modern business spaces always makes visits here enjoyable and rewarding.
